DIG DEEPER

Completely on my own, completely in a new culture, and for completely free, I spent a month in Puerto Rico working with children in the TASIS Dorado school. My days were spent in a classroom and my evenings were on the beach. Never was I bored; no, my most vivid emotion was my drive to complete this challenge. Through Hartwick's Emerson Scholarship, I was able to make a difference in the lives of my students, as well as to change my own personal perceptions on the world. Now, Puerto Rico is my favorite place on the planet, and I can't wait to go back.
