Recently I ran across a picture from last spring’s New York State Foundations of Education Conference at Siena College. I was invited with the rest of my mini-seminar class to present a paper I wrote to graduate students, teachers, and educators from all around New York. I was so nervous speaking in front of all those people! The course was called Ethnography in Schools and each student in my class created an individual research project; I studied social class. The other participants treated us like equals. It was a good opportunity to practice my public speaking and networking skills. Contact admissions |
