“The best experience I've ever had.”

In Jamaica, we got to see the communities and the people within them and their lives. We were welcomed into lives of complete strangers; and, over the course of a month, got to know them very well. The kids were adorable and I wanted to bring them all home with me. We were able to deliver nursing care, educate ourselves about another culture and the role of culture in nursing, as well as give back to the community, seeing as they needed it the most. I LOVED going down there and will want to go back or to other countries in the future.
