“I wasn't as homesick as I thought I would be!”

Well, I get homesick very easily and I thought it would be a little rough to go off to college and be away from my parents and home for such a long period of time. I think it was because there was always something going on, especially for us freshmen, that there wasn't really any time to sit and cry though! Like during November there was an event where they gave out free goldfish and a bowl to go with it. I named my fish Dorothy (after Elmo's fish), but I always call it a "he"! When there's really no events happening I love to just take in the beautiful Hartwick view!
