FROM THIS DEPARTMENT

DIG DEEPER

I have been able to go on many wonderful field trips with the Geology department at Hartwick College. Taking part in these trips has taught me just how important hands on learning in the field can be and how lucky students in our department are to have the chance to go on these amazing trips. During my four years I have been to places such as Oregon, Death Valley, Texas, Hawaii, and numerous other locations in the U.S. to experience different geology and landscapes that aren't done justice in a textbook. Geology at Hartwick College is more than just a major, it's an experience of a lifetime.
