American University's Washington Semester is a four month long process of total immersion inside the culture and politics of Washington DC. While there I attended classes, toured national sites, met with Senators and Congressmen, and completed an internship at a small environmental NGO on Capitol Hill. I also witnessed an historic election and participated in a protest or two. I learned more about American politics than I ever thought possible, and I left in December feeling like a true DC insider. It was the experience of a lifetime and one of the many highlights in my Hartwick career. Contact admissions |
