“I never thought I would be able to go to Egypt, especially at just 18 years old.”

My friends and family thought I was crazy for wanting to go to such a dangerous place like Egypt. Of course I was not afraid of any danger in Egypt; I was afraid because my friend and I were the only freshmen on the trip. We traveled up and down the Nile River from Cairo to Aswan, the Sinai Peninsula to Alexandria, all over Egypt, in just two, short weeks. My experiences in Egypt will never be forgotten. I had the time of my life. My Egyptian adventure showed me my love for traveling and helped me grow as a young adult. I was only a freshman, but I had an experience of a life time!
