DIG DEEPER

As my first study abroad experience, Ghana was better than anything I'd ever expected. Living across the street from the local beach, for starters, was like a dream. I have never felt so comfortable in such a foreign place so quickly. The people were outstanding. Having the opportunity to get professional drum lessons and learn first hand the history of a village I was assigned to brought me that much closer to the culture of Ghana. Learning the history of a country is interesting, but when you're actually there you want to learn as much as you can as fast as you can. I couldn't get enough.
