My second J Term trip was a strenuous but unforgettable one. I went to the African island of Madagascar. Madagascar is often called the 8th continent because it is so isolated from the rest of the world. Madagascar is filled with plants and wildlife that you would not see anywhere else. Our group traveled through dense rainforests and dry deserts. We pushed ourselves to the limit on two four hour hikes each day, while still having fun. I do not know if I will ever be able to return to Madagascar so I am glad Hartwick gave me the opportunity to explore this foreign land. Contact admissions |
