“I never thought I would even audition and then I ended up having so much fun!”

One of my great friends, Seth Lucas, directed the Vagina Monologues as his senior thesis for his Theatre Arts major. I enjoyed participating in such an inspiring play because I learned the importance of woman empowerment and independence. I also became friends with so many people from all sorts of majors. We all had different monologues - some were hilarious, some were quite sad and emotional, and some were frank and serious. We all knew each others' lines by the end and now it is fun to recite them when they are triggered! This is an experience that I will never forget. Great job everyone!
