DIG DEEPER

My trip to Thailand cannot be summed up in 600 characters or less, but I can say that I am a better person because I went there. I lived amongst the Akha hill tribe members and saw that although these people had so little in material, they were incredibly happy. One day I watched a visiting nurse practitioner educate the Akha people about injury prevention. I realized that physical therapy would allow me to give a great gift to society and have since decided to pursue PT as a career. Above all, I took their "Mai Pen Rai" ("no worries") philosophy to heart, and I try to live by it every day.
