I knew that coming into college as a freshman wasn't going to be easy. As an art student, it was intimidating looking around at the work that everyone else had accomplished before coming to Hartwick. But after the first week of my FYS in 2-D design and Drawing I, things changed. My class became much more comfortable with one another, and we realized that each and every one of us is talented in multiple ways. We've learned to use one another to help learn new techniques and ideas. Between outside class events, and pulling all-nighters in the studio, we've become the closest of friends.
