DIG DEEPER

On Saturday, October 2, 2010, I went on my first Hartwick sponsored trip to NYC for the first art history class I’m taking this semester. As I sat on the bus and throughout my time there, I wondered was the thirty five dollars I had to spend worth it? As someone who is taking an art history course for the first time, I looked at the art, I saw more of the history aspect, more than just paying attention to certain details of the paintings and where my eyes went to first on the artwork. Yes, I had an amazing day in the city. I got to go to two famous art museums: The MET and Guggenheim.
