For my First Year Seminar class, Ideas and Practice of Sustainability, we had to take a hike to Mud Lake. We hiked up a monstrous hill for what seemed like forever. Everyone complained about being tired, hungry, and having wet feet the entire way up. We finally got to our destination, Mud Lake. It was beautiful. We all stood on the floating moss for about 10 minutes and hiked back. As close as our class was, I think this made us even closer walking this distance with each other and gazing at a beautiful sight and talking to each other the entire way. Contact admissions |
