Bread & Puppet Theatre brought its bus and energy to Pine Lake to share its circus with Hartwick students and community volunteers. Students engaged in crazy stilt stunts, colorful flag acts and satirical puppet plays to develop an outdoor performance for community patrons. Dressed as cows, corporate executives and sunbathers, students danced and sang their way through the "Decapitalization Circus". Bread & Puppet Theatre has been presenting such events since the 1960s and has visited Hartwick numerous times. Each Bread & Puppet event dares people to laugh, think and make change.
