“Noroc! ”

Parliament in Budapest, Hungary
Sibiu, Romania. An old German town that was beautiful!
Monastery in Maramures
Helping Radu volunteer at a city event in Cluj. Most our speakers (doctor, entrepreneur, banker, etc.) all help serve the community. There's a traditional folk dance performance, free dinner, and a fireworks show every Monday, and just being there with everyone was incredible!
At the NJoy Hostel in Budapest, we helped the owner make Langos, a traditional Hungarian dinner, with the other people staying there from all over the world. Fun night, indeed.

DIG DEEPER

For this J Term I decided to travel to Cluj-Napoca, Romania to learn about its culture and how a variety of people have entered business before and after communism. We had the opportunity to hear from a number of professionals including faculty, a politician, an attorney, entrepreneurs, a doctor, and even an ex-political prisoner. We also went on a few day trips to places like Sibiu and Maramures. Weekends were for trips to places of our choice (mine being Budapest).
