Hartwick's Model United Nations club recently sent 10 delegates to Harvard's National Model United Nations 2011 conference. We represented the Commonwealth Secretariat, and worked side by side with students from Yale, Endicott, and many other Universities all across the world. We met delegates from Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as California, Texas, and fellow New Yorkers. After 3 days of long debates and committee sessions; we drafted and voted on a resolution to solve the problem of rampant disease spreading after natural disasters! It was a lesson in diplomacy; just like the real UN! Contact admissions |
