This January, I studied abroad in England as an independent study. My original J Term trip got canceled so with the help of the study abroad center, I was able to make my own trip that met my educational requirements. I earned a sociology credit by studying gender in a British fourth grade classroom then comparing the data to an American classroom. As a junior, I was also able to start collecting ideas and data for use in my senior thesis. This experience helped me grow not only as a student but also as a future educator. Contact admissions |
