As a history major and long-time enthusiast, focusing in Tudor history, The Tower of London has been at the top of my bucket list since middle school. What I didn't expect was to luck into the experience of a lifetime and a history buff's dream come true. While every moment of the tour was awe-inspiring, nothing could top the moment when, after a conversation with a tower guard about my academic study of Anne Boleyn, I was allowed to go past the rope that blocked visitors from her grave, and examine the site. Nothing in my life has ever been more gratifying than this experience.
