DIG DEEPER

As a group the students on the J Term Peru trip trekked through the Andes, experiencing sun, incredible sights, and even setting up camp in Inca ruins, we all were having a great time. We bonded with our Peruvian tour guides around a camp fire under breath taking stars. On the second day a little rain didn't slow our pace. But three hours in, everyone's gear was soaked. Hands were numb, spirits were broken. We were informed if we went any further we would hit the snow line. It was heartbreaking to turn around and hike all the way back down. However this experience brought us closer.
