DIG DEEPER

First seeing Machu Picchu was breath taking by itself. But after climbing the mountain behind it, Huayna Picchu, I felt like a new person. The hike up was most of the experience. I had to use ropes to support myself and literally get on all fours, it seemed never ending. I encountered other Americans that I met in town in Peru. We shared experiences and gained so much from each other. Once finally reaching the top of the mountain and being reunited with my classmates it was unbelievable. We were silent in awe. The view was unreal. I stayed for hours, taking in everything and just thinking.
