This February break, Seth Lucas (Director of Awakening/Challenge Education) and I presented at the Association for Challenge Course Technology, held at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston. We discussed the value of the Awakening Orientation program, focusing on the goals, technical aspects, and outcomes of the program. We were also able to see other fascinating presentations about challenge courses. This experience of presenting for 1 hour was a phenomenal way to gain confidence and comfort with public speaking, and also reinforced my passion and admiration for the Awakening program.
