FROM THIS DEPARTMENT

DIG DEEPER

During this year's Spring Break, I traveled with Hartwick's Habitat for Humanity Club to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In Winston-Salem, we helped with siding, roofing, and other building projects for three different Habitat builds. When not on the building sites, some of the club went hiking on Pilot Mountain, while others went exploring Old Salem, in which we learned the Moravian beginnings of Winston-Salem. Through my experiences with the Habitat for Humanity Club, I have learned that through helping people and using teamwork, you can really make a difference in the lives of others.
