“Four months travelling solo in India.”

The Taj Mahal of course! A 65 cent train from Delhi and a site definitely worth seeing.
Volunteering at Sambhavna Trust Clinic and making ayurvedic medicines for victims still recovering from the Union Carbide disaster years ago.
Holi Festival celebration with my couch surfing family in Bhopal, India. Music, Color, and Food! So fun.
View from our room in Pokhara, Nepal.
Visiting the Union Carbide chemical site. It was absolutely haunting to be there and powerful to be at the site of one of the worst disasters in history.
We were able to hike some of the Annapurna trail! It was absolutely stunning...until we were turned away for not having permits we didn't know we needed... an unforgettable adventure :).

DIG DEEPER

I was honored to be granted the Duffy Family Ambassador Scholarship last year. I spent four months travelling on my own around all around India. I started in Mumbai on an organic farm, then went to tropical Kerala in the south, then train hopped through cities all the way to the North, and eventually, up to Nepal. It was a very intense experience where I encountered great fun, many difficulties and frustrations, and am still undergoing the changes and growth from such an adventure.
