This J Term, I had the pleasure of taking the Puppetry in Performance class with 13 other awesome students. Over the month of January we certainly were busy learning about various styles of puppetry and then actually tried it out ourselves! We got in to groups and made shadow puppet presentations, we did various skits using full body puppets, we learned the different ways you can move your body to make a puppet look more lifelike, and over all we grew such a strong bond with each other and learned the intricate, beautiful, interesting, and crazy world of puppetry.
